Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Civil Engineer to join our land development team. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth while working on diverse projects throughout Georgia under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- 0-4 years of experience in civil engineering or related field
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of Georgia erosion control practices and stormwater management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of civil engineering drawings and calculations
- Perform site investigations and field visits
- Support senior engineers in project design and documentation
- Help prepare erosion control plans and stormwater management designs
- Learn and apply Georgia development regulations and design standards
- Coordinate with team members and contribute to project deliverables
- Participate in construction administration activities
- Develop technical skills through mentorship and practical experience
